Cynthia Starke-Jones
Cynthia Starke-Jones is a special education teacher in the second largest public school system in Georgia. In her role as an educator, she advocates, plans, develops, delivers, and evaluates individualized educational services and programs for students with disabilities.
Before becoming an educator, Cynthia spent much of her career in the banking and telecommunications industries. For over 20 years, she has used her leadership, planning, and budgeting skills to support equality and opportunity through several civic organizations across Georgia.
A lifelong Georgia resident, Cynthia currently serves on the board of one of the oldest and largest advocacy associations dedicated to improving the educational success of children. Her commitment to District 19 is rooted in her experience as an educator and her deep love for our community.
Key Achievements
